The kind folk at AudioCulture - "The noisy library of New Zealand music" - have allowed us to republish their story map which explores the early locations of Flying Nun in Christchurch.

90s 'third wave' Flying Nun chart toppers Garageland are returning for an extensive tour of New Zealand this October, complete with the original line-up and playing their classic first EP and debut album - which was released 25 years ago. 

National song-writing treasure Aldous Harding has returned today with her latest song and recent "set-closer" 'Old Peel'.

Flying Nun's made 40 trips around the sun, and writer Martin Aston has been along for the ride for the majority of them. Martin has written for MOJO, Q, The Guardian, The Times, Attitude, Radio Times and BBC Music Online, and has authored four books, including 'Facing The Other Way: The Story of 4AD" and a book on Bjork.
