Late last week we were treated to a new album from N.T. Honey. "It's a sound that borrows from a range of influences such as Surf, D.I.Y., Garage and Folk music." Take a listen for yourself here:
N. T. Honey is the project of musician and songwriter Anya Henis. She recorded Accidental Punk with Stefan Neville (Pumice) using analogue tape, which really comes through on the final product.
Anya reflects that "listening back to these recordings with Stefan was so exciting, we love the sound of analogue tape. Still not sure how ‘punk’ this album is but we’re happy it’s out there!"
Accidental Punk follows N. T. Honey's independently released solo EPs, 2018's N. T. Honey and 2019's Eat Them Before They Eat You. It's their first release on local imprint Sunreturn.
