Ahead of her new album entitled Another Wave Is Coming, Emily Edrosa has released the single Drinking During The Day:
It comes by the way of PSL Sound in New Zealand and Park The Van in the United States. PSL Sound is Edrosa's own newly formed label, which was initially created for the purpose of this release and to print out-of-print Street Chant records.
About Drinking During The Day, Edrosa commented that:
“This is one of the first songs I wrote for my record, and after this I knew the album wasn’t going to be folky like my EP was. The end guitar solo is one of the funnest things I have ever recorded. As far as drinking during the day goes, I wouldn’t recommend it — except on Christmas which is when this song takes place. Unless the drinking is a metaphor, which I hope it is.”
Another Wave Is Coming will be released this November via PSL Sound and Park The Van. Drinking During The Day is out now.
