'Dancer' is the first single from Jazmine Mary’s soon to be released debut album, The Licking of a Tangerine, which was recorded late last year at Auckland's Roundhead Studios by Steven Marr, and features strings played by Dave Kahn (Marlon Williams, Reb Fountain), drumming by Courtney Rodgers, alto saxophone by Aaron Lovich and keyboards and baritone saxophone by the bands newest addition Peter Ruddell (Wax Chattels, Sulfate).
The Licking of a Tangerine will be released on the 15th of February.
Jazmine and band will be playing an album release show at The Wine Cellar with Louisa Nicklin and more to be announced.
