Last Friday, Juno Is released the first single from her debut album, due late 2022. Check out Zoom Zoom here:
Juno Is frontwoman, Mackenzie Hollebon, started out as a drummer before taking centre stage. Speaking to muzic.net.nz, she commented that “because I’m such an introverted person, it definitely came to points where I’d clash with people when I was drumming, and I just felt like I needed full independence to fully be satisfied with my creativity.”
Now, she has become the latest named by the blog Ones To Watch as an artist to, well, watch. To celebrate, she performed a livestream from home, including Zoom Zoom amongst tracks new and old:
For those in Wellington, Juno Is has announced a one-off show for September 18th at Meow which as of yet has not been cancelled. Get your tickets here and fingers crossed the show will be able to go ahead!
