King Sweeties have today released their debut EP, We Are The Bosses. It was inspired by "that little window of post-punk New York, like Tom Tom Club and [...] Blondie." Listen here:
The EP was recorded and produced by Runga, who got stuck into learning and navigating audio engineering for the project. The end result sees two newbies, We Are The Bosses and Who Wouldn't Want To Be In Love, added to the three singles already released. Cass Basil on Tonight We Could Go Out Dancing: “We wrote the lyrics to the song pre-pandemic, but 2020 has brought a whole new meaning to it (as it has with every song ever written). This song is about remaining hopeful in tough times. We hope it brings you some joy!”
