Ōtepoti 4-piece noise Dale Kerrigan have released their second full-length LP - the water - out today via local label trace / untrace.
This album sees the band trekking more or less the same noisy, turbulent territory as their first album noise bitch, however in this case they are not afraid to veer off the path into more tranquil, peaceful spaces. Enlisting the recording help of friends such as Marie Dunn on cello, and members of the trace / untrace whānau such as Julie Dunn, Hilary Faul and CJ Holley, the songs' sonic textures have even more depth and layers within the waterfalls of noise.
The album is out now on cassette and across all streaming platforms. Check it out below via their Bandcamp.
Did you know that Dale Kerrigan are also about to embark on a tour this weekend? Woohoo! Details below if you want to watch them in a town near you.
