For the first time in a long time, The Chills have released a new track. This is You're Immortal:
Martin Phillipps on You’re Immortal. “These are unprecedented times but, as usual, the young feel invulnerable and the elders are concerned. The old people (like me) want to feel more involved but they also know that their time of influence has largely passed.
So we learn from the young and admire them as they make their own mistakes yet still, hopefully, shape extraordinary history we could not have imagined.”
This song sets in motion a new epoch for the band, with much to look forward to. Alongside that lest we forget are the recently announced reissues of Submarine Bells and Soft Bomb (in blue or orange no less), set to be released on January 15th, 2021. Things are looking up!
