The Beths have released a new song! Check out the video for A Real Thing here:
“This song is a kind of anxiety dream. It's a bit muddled, a bit frantic, a bit sinister” says lead singer Liz Stokes. Stokes wrote this song in late 2020, following the election in New Zealand and the U.S, attempting to reach for optimism about the future, but ultimately playing more apocalyptic scenarios of climate change in her head. It appears that the infectious and insightful songwriting we hear here on A Real Thing is a sign of songs to come for the band. Stay tuned!
A Real Thing is out in New Zealand and Australia via Ivy League Records, and via Carpark Records in the rest of the world. For our States-Side fans, The Beths are touring your fair land right now! They also have shows planned in Europe and Australia later in the year. Check where and grab your tickets here.
