"Meung is a well-documented member of Dunedin, New Zealand’s subunderground scene ... The main (though far from sole) elements on this tape are electric guitar (with attendant amp blurt) and electronics – sometimes displaying a Game Boy
aesthetic, sometimes offering proggy darkwave textures and others of pure insectoid skitter. The best moments are those where both of these approaches are used – guitar amps humping themselves in the background while sequencers spit out repetitive tone-floats and everything shudders a bit ominously.
