The Gordons
The Gordons were New Zealand band from Christchurch, formed in 1980. The group were known for their loud, intense, and post-punk sound. The Gordons members were John Halvorsen (bass, guitar, vocals), Alister Parker (guitar, bass, vocals) and Brent McLachlan (drums).
The original version of the band lasted for two years, reforming in 1984 with Vince Pinker taking over from Alister Parker. Parker went on to form Nelsh Bailter Space in 1986 which later became Bailter Space, which featured the original line up from The Gordons.
