After sharing 'California' a month ago, Al Park is back on our radar (did he ever leave?) with a follow up tune, 'Running Away From A Broken Heart'.
Al Park's forthcoming album, Pony, is his first in over 20 years. His music has been treasured for decades and was paid homage in a compilation released in 2019 named Better Already: The Songs of Al Park with contributions from Marlon Williams, Delaney Davidson and Adam Hattaway. Now, after a long hiatus from his self-titled album in '89 and 'Human Thing' in '99 Al Park is releasing 'Pony'.

'Running Away From A Broken Heart' isn't the only thing we've heard from Park today, as the Lyttelton local has also announced a party for Pony happening at Loons on 27th May, Catch Al on stage with his band, plus special guests Adam McGrath (The Eastern) & Jess Shanks, and Adam Hattaway & Tess Liautaud.
Early bird tickets available from Friday 15th April HERE via UTR (ticket + album option available)
