Anthonie Tonnon has released his first album since 2015's Successor. Listen to Leave Love Out Of This here:
Tonnon worked closely with longtime collaborator, The Beths guitarist and producer Jonathan Pearce, to produce Leave Love Out Of This. Pearce commented that this album is "our idea of what it sounds like when digital meets the fleshy. We have blunt fingers and thumbs, and we have to create handles and knobs and sliders for ourselves." This is somewhat of an evolution from the recording process for this album's predecessor, Successor, which was powered on 1970s technology.
Both Tonnon and Pearce have been nominated as finalists for the 2021 Silver Scroll Award for the title track Leave Love Out Of This.
