In this weeks edition of What Was That Thing? we have locals Dartz who performed their song, Pray For Prey live at the Flying Nun Records store.
Dartz are a Newtown, Wellington (Aotearoa NZ) punk, noisy rock kind of band. They officially released this very tune just a week ago - including this video - which features the Don of Dominion Rd himself - Don McGlashan (who wrote the original song which this version is an adaptation of).
Dartz have a ferocious live show. Even when just two nervous camera operators are only other people in the room (such as when this video was shot) they give it heaps. Dartz plays live regularly around Wellington and New Zealand. Don't miss them next time they are in town.
