Over the past few weeks we've had artists we like come in and perform a few songs for us at the Flying Nun shop. Wellington band Goya know how to lay down a dark a sludgy groove. Like the Bailter Space, the Skeptics or Gang of Four before them, it's solid loud music.
The track A Low Hill, featured here, is pure grinding tight-post-punk-post-rock.
Goya is made up of Lucas Donnell, Jonathan Shirley and Frazer Charlton. In 2021 they released an EP called 'Being Earnest', which was engineered and mixed by Hans Pucket's Oliver Devlin.
