Anthonie Tonnon has just announced the dates for his 2023 tour of the motu, visiting regional centres with his full band and light show. 

The Taite Music Prize was held on Sunday the 28th of May at Q Theatre in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. It was a very special night bringing together people from all over the country to celebrate the people who make up Aotearoa's musical landscape.

We have a pretty chocka-block lineup this week, with a new round of very exciting gig announcements. Here are our gig picks, featuring Cate Le Bon, Bored Housewives Club, Perfume Genius, Harry Styles and Yumi Zouma.   

Flying Nun's very own post-punk trio Wax Chattels are in the running for 'Best Alternative Artist' for the second time — this year they're up against Na Noise and Anthonie Tonnon.
