Die! have dished out a brand new standalone single - 'Smelter' - an infectious, attitudinal concoction of noise pop and post punk, dug out during the 2020 lockdown from demo sessions dating back over 10 years ago. Of the single, singer and guitarist Andrew Wilson says "We found a rough demo of Smelter in the first lockdown in 2020 from our abandoned Flying Nun fourth album sessions in 2010. We liked it so much that we decided to bring the song back to life. Lyrically the song is about a lost friend". Smelter by Die! Die! Die! 'Smelter'...
Tāmaki-Makaurau/Ōtepoti post-punk trio, Die! Die! Die! release a special five-track live session to celebrate the release of their recently released album, This Is Not An Island Anymore.
"Andrew Wilson’s high-pitched rants and intentionally dissonant guitar combine with Michael Prain’s full-on drumming to perfectly convey their broadsides on talkback radio and the disinformation wormholes on social media. Short, sharp, and effective as nails." - Gary Steel
