Tāmaki Makaurau-based songwriter and sound artist, ifiwereme, has revealed the second single from his upcoming album Water Buffalo, due to be released in the new year.

Here at Flying Nun, we love new music - and we're absolutely loving this new track, 'Skipping Stones' from Tāmaki Makaurau-based songwriter and sound artist, ifiwereme - AKA Costa Colachis Glass.  Self-described as a "landlocked sea shanty", 'Skipping Stones' exudes a mellow, jazz-leaning vibe, with Glass' vocal chops getting a work out, flipping between softly-spoken whispers to uncanny shreds, which duet with the sweet voice of San Fransisco-based singer Sue-Ling Kaiser.  The song is accompanied by an eclectic music video directed by Jules Muir and inspired by Arthur Russell’s ‘Terrace of Unintelligibility’ performance and film in 1985.  The single is the first...
